TIA ladies...

we've gone through a whirlwind of things in the past 4+ months with the birth of the baby. i have felt very convicted and very faithful that we can have a VBA2C. but of course the OBs are against us. it is a looooooooong story, we've done a lot of research, discussing, investigating, interviewing.....and eventhough i have come to the peace that either way God has it - cesarean or VBAC - i will be happy as long as i know i have followed Him along the way, a VBAC attempt is very strong on my heart.

today with the service we went to, and of all the things i got out of it, i heard God tell me that this is a desire he has put in my heart and to continue persuing. a lot of miracles and doors have swung open during this period of time...and i know that even if i end up with a cesarean, either way God has something planned for me, and us. maybe to share with others, maybe to learn something, and obviously to grow no matter what.

so just please keep our situation and family in your prayers, there's many options on the table and lots of big decisions to make and i would love prayers for our focus and our heart to continue to be on what God wants for our family, our new baby and our birth.

ps. we won't be completely homebirthing. we'll be home laboring with a doula at home and we'll be buying a kiddie birthing pool, and then heading to the hospital with a birthplan and our doula after far into labor and close to birth.

You sound much more at peace about this than you were before. I'm really glad that you've found something that will work for you and your family.

I'm so glad to read this update. I'm cheering you on all the way!
