No, I'm not bruised. I've just finished updating the due date and graduates list (finally moved those to a separate thread, which will be 'stickied' shortly.) And I noticed that on the due date list, it's ALL blue (boy) and purple (surprises). Even on the list of babes already born, the blue is way more prominent than the pink.

So...are home birthing mamas more likely to have boys than girls? Do most purples turn blue in the end? Or do I just not get enough sleep and think too much late at night?

Discuss amongst yourselves...

ETA: If any of you purples on the due date list aren't purple any more...just let me know and I'll change you to the appropriate color. I just can't wait to see who all these purples turn out to be!

Well I know the gender of my baby.... but no one else does, just one or two close friends and DH. It will be a surprise for everyone else!

My "purple" hospital birth ended up being a "pink." My "purple" homebirth was a "blue." Who knows with this "purple." (Second was born in a free-standing birthing center and we knew he was a boy at 30 weeks.)
