A few weeks ago I did a time of day baby shower for my SIL. It was loads pf fun.

We decorated the room with different time scenes. ex. bathtime: we used a wash pan, towel, wash cloth, baby wash, rubber ducky. We set all that up together and put a wind up clock in front of it( we borrowed alot of alarm clocks for this) that was stopped on 8:00. We did this with all the times of a baby's day.

I used generic baby shower invitations and tableware because we could not find anything that went along with the time of day theme. Inside each invitation we put a slip of paper with "It's a Boy" and each person was assigned a time of day. Here are a list of the times of time:

Soap and lotion
Tub toys
Baby shampoo
Infant bath tubs
Bath mobile
Washcloths and towels
Receiving blanket

Playpen pad
Activity quilts
Learning toys
Activity centers
Stuffed animals
Tub toys
More toys
Teething ring
Play clothes

Food dishes
Infant formula
Nursing mothers' products
Feeding spoon
Warming dish
Bottles and nipples
Bottle warmer
Feeding spoon
Quilted bottle covers
Portable table seat
High chairs

Stuffed animals
Crib bumper pad
Crib mobile
Wooden cradle

Visiting time:
Car seats
Diaper bags
Body carriers
Disposable bottles
Disposable diapers
Adorable outfit
Visiting Clothes

Crib sheets
Blanket sleeper
Crib blanket
Baby monitors
Waterproof mattress pad
Stuffed animals

You can add to each list whatever you want to. This went over really well. People liked knowing what she needed and she actually got items from each category.

Have a great shower.

Do you have any ideas to add to this shower? Feel free to share.
