When did you have your baby shower? Did you have your shower before your baby was born? or did you wait so your shower attendees could meet your Little one?

Angel mommy to Kenna Cole now 2 years old and ruling the roost!!! I need a new siggie!!!

Well, for Baby #1, family, friends, and co-workers threw us three showers before DD was born. The big family/friend one that my mom and sis hosted was held at my house so that everyone could see DD's nursery.

With Baby #2, my co-workers threw a shower before DS was born; but I had a family/friend Meet n' Greet Diaper Shower after DS was born. The latter was held at my house so everyone could see the nursery.

(So, I didn't vote as I've done both.)

With Baby #3, I think I'll do the same as I did with DS - after the baby is born. It's more of a Meet n' Greet than a shower even though most people brought gifts and food was served.

Thank-you GraysMama for my beautiful siggy!

I voted after because my little one made a surprise appearance 9 weeks early. The showers were already planned, but we didn't make it that far, so they will be after since he is here already. He won't be attending with me though since he is in NICU.

after baby is born we will do a 'meet the baby' open house- so there will be a date people can feel free to stop by and meet the baby- instead of everyone coming at the same time.

I voted for before!

My mother in law was the one who threw the shower and she suggested doing it after so everyone could meet the baby. But, I didn't like the idea of everyone passing him around. Although, I guess it wouldn't have mattered anyway since EVERYONE decided to show up the day he was born and pass him around. GRRRRr.....I'm still mad about that til this day.

Thank you Katarina for this adorable siggy!

With my first, it was before. With this one, I think we'll have a meet and greet after she's born.
