Hey everybody! I'm due May 3, 2009 with a little girl. And I have some questions, that I am unsure about.
I'm planning on having my baby shower April 19, and I will be 38 weeks that day. Do you think thats too late?
And I'm not having a big baby shower, I don't have a very big guest list, I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips and pointers on what to do for my baby shower.
My mom's not very good at this!

I would get your invitations out ASAP. Then you can decide on a theme and food ideas, if you want to play games. Look at the stickies and the subforums on top of this forum there are some great ideas. If you don't want to play games you can have just a door prize drawing, have your guests bring a book or a package of diapers or wipes. They always help out. Whoever brings them can have their name put in the door prize. Let us know how your baby shower goes would love to see pictures afterwards.

It's not too late but make sure that there are plans in place just in case baby makes an unexpected appearance before the shower. There are a lot of things that you can do at a shower; food, games, presents, or simply talk, but I agree with anjelt, you should get those invitations out as soon as possible.

My first book will be coming out in 2010, hopefully just in time for baby #3.
