I was ready in some ways and not in others, but we're done nursing As soon as AF showed back up in January, both kids really cut back. I wonder if the taste of the milk changed with the hormone shift. One of them recently started latching on and then would say "uh-oh" and stop . The other nursed for about an extra week and then she too was done. When they were still nursing all night long at the beginning of Dec, I never though that they would self wean this quickly. Neither has nursed for a week now. Only one has asked in that time and she ran away after asking before I could even offer.

I feel awesome that I made it almost 19 months with twins. I'm ready to start ttc again, so them not nursing will help with that, especially if I decide to do herbs or fertility drugs. I am sad though because if I wasn't going to ttc, there would be no way I would be ready. I'm glad they did it on their own, but I'm shocked they did it this early.

Thank you peimum for my siggie

You should feel soo proud of yourself for nursing your twins for 19 months! Good luck to your on your TTC journey I have identical twin cousins who are 19 years old now and they have a 17 year old sister. Their mom always told me "going from twins to just one baby was a piece of cake," he he!
