Karrigan uses one, but only for sleep. She isn't as dependent on it as she used to be. We may be lucky enough to be rid of it entirely soon.

He would take a pacifier sometimes when he was a newborn, but has wanted nothing to do with them since.

Our son took one for the first 2months of his life, he cried constantly NON-STOP for 2months straight, and this was one of the things that helped comfort him. Then just one day around the time he turned 2months, he just refused it. We bought a pack of them when he was getting his first teeth, it was the ones with the BIG nipples to them, He used these to chew on for teething. "really helped!" My SIL's 14month old still uses and loves his, but also only to nap/sleep at night.

Jack loves his pacifier but usually only wants it when he is fussy which is usually when he is getting sleepy.
