My baby is about 2weeks old (born April 11), and her umbilical cord stump still hasn't fallen out yet. Is this normal to have not fallen out yet? There seems to be a little brow discharge that is rubbed on to her onsie. But I don't see any other reason to suspect it could be infected.

Unless it smells or is obviously infected I wouldn't worry too much. If you are concerned though call your doctor's office and ask them how long it should be before it falls off. They'll be able to tell you what's normal.

Usually they say it will fall off between 5 days and 2 weeks after birth. If you're worried though I'd call your doctor just to be safe.
Like kathy said as long as it doesn't smell or is pussing there shouldn't be any infection. Good luck and let us know how everything turns out!
Thank you tasha_mae for my beautiful siggy!
