I know we all have nights we just cannot get our babies to sleep(or did) and we just want to pull our hair out. We get tired, we know the babies are tired but nothing we try is working. Check out this article Wonderful Sounds for Sleep for some suggestions and see if they help at all.

we have a white noise machine and an ocean cd that we play when putting noah down. we keep the cd on repeat during his naps to down out any noise in the house. especially since i work from home and my office is right next to his room. at night, we keep the cd on until we go to bed. then we turn that off and just keep the white noise machine on. both DH and i like the white noise machine too!

Seamus has a fan on him all night I works wonders. Espically sense Dh and I sleep with a fan on, and I knew when we moved Seamus to his own room a couple months ago we couldn't just stop the fan, it would be too much shock changing that much at once.
