Did you have your baby's PKU done at birth? How about anyother tests?
What do you think about infant testing?
Heres an article I found on it. Infant testing

Brighter futures: Infant screening helps detect conditions early

One of the most important advances in medical science over the past decade has been the improved ability to screen newborns for genetic or functional disorders. Early diagnosis can help ensure the successful management or treatment of conditions that might otherwise have devastating consequences.[/b]

Did you have your baby's PKU done at birth? How about anyother tests? I'm assuming his PKU was done, but I didn't hear anything about it. He had breathing difficulties after birth and was in the NICU for a week, so we had other worries on our minds.
What do you think about infant testing? I think it is a definite necessity. Blake failed his hearing test in one ear and had to get it rechecked. Turned out he was fine and it was just extra fluid from being a c/s baby.

I had it done when my boys were born. They gave the boys each a test within minutes of being born as well as another one at 48 hours. I definitely don't remember the scores but they were all normal.
