Hi my name is Kirsty and I usually post in the March Playroom but I want to ask this question to all of you aswell. I want to buy an exersaucer or jumperoo. But I don't know which would be better. Which did or does your baby prefer?

We never purchased an Exersaucer, but we did buy the Jumperoo for our first son... He loved it!

He could hang about and rock himself, and often times he would fall asleep in it as well .... I look forward to my second son being able to hold his head up, so we can put him in it. He's extremely tall for his age, and would fit in it now, but needs to work on that head control first.

Just popping in -- saw the post title and couldn't help myself

I've had four children. The first three used exercausers and the last one used the jumparoo. The jumparoo was great because the kid can bounce around in it and really exercise their legs. My youngest loved it. But exercausers are good too. The main attraction of the jumparoo is that its like a johnny jump up without all the risk involved (I personally never would have felt safe hanging my baby by a door frame :S )

We have the rainforest jumperoo..and he actually can use it now...he loves it. We will probably get an exersaucer too..but not till his little legs are stronger..

His cousin loved the jumperoo too...he was jumping like crazy in the thing..i thought he was going to break it lol...but he was about 9-10 months old when he tried it out.

IMO I hate excersaucers. They don't teach the baby to work their legs and I think it's a big part of babies walking later and later.
I like the jumperoos, they look fun and I like that you can move it from room to room.

We have a johnny jump up and Kayla LOVED it. Just make sure your door frame is secure.
