Hey I've been MIA for a bit again. But I should be able to get back into it now.

My daughters medical condition got worse for a bit but is all good now. That kept me away for a few days. Then we found out the guy we are renting from is doing a short sale on the house we are renting. We just found out on Thursday at 1pm and at 5pm that night she called and said at 9am on Friday she wanted to bring people over. Um what? We've only known the house was for sale for 4 hours. Then the guy we're renting from wanted US to pay to have the house cleaned "since we're living here". He wanted the rental company to use our security deposit. They told him no that's for when we leave the house. Not for anything before hand. So yeah this guy is not working with us here. Him and the real estate lady want to get a million people through here and we don't want anyone here when we are not home. I don't like coming home and then wondering who was through our house, did they touch anything? Move anything? Plus we've had friends going through the same thing have things stolen from their house. So not fun.

But on a happier note we found out on the 24th that I'm pregnant. Which was a huge shocker to us since we were not TTC.

Wow. Your landlord sounds like a jerk. Hope y'all get that figured out. I'm glad Rachel's doing well, and congrats on being pregnant! Any gender hopes?

I secretly want another daughter. I love little girl clothes. Dh wants a boy... But either way they will be a tie breaker since we already have one of each.

That is some serious short notice! I hope you find another place quickly that suits your family. Your landlord sounds like a complete PITA. Glad to hear Rachel is doing better. Congrats on your pregnancy too, have a happy and healthy 9!

is that even legal for them to let people in the house you are renting without telling you and when you are not home??? i would look into that!!

Welcome back! I would be very displeased with the landlord! But I am glad that Rachel is doing better and congrats on the pg!!!

No its not. Which is why me and her have been having some words. I e-mailed her a list of "rules" for here on out

1. at least two hour notice
2. nothing before 9am
3. nothing after 6pm -- our kids get a bath at six and I don't want strangers walking around when they are naked.
4. no showing if we are not home. Our neighbors are selling our house and they had another agent show the house when they weren't home (didn't call) and there TV was stolen. The agent & the people got caught and charged. But yeah no showing if we are not home.

That sounds reasonable right?
