I get up at the same time during the school year or summer during the week (well maybe 30 minutes later in the summer, but basically the same time for work). But weekends I sleep late. Either way my pets (2 cats and 2 dogs) do not wake me up. The cats always have food and water so they really have no need and the dogs know it doesn't do them any good so they just wait patiently until we get up.

The animals aren't allowed on the 2nd floor of our house. The cats sneak up there sometimes but we sleep with the bedroom door closed so the worst that will happen is scratching and meowing at the door. I can usually sleep through that. When the'yre really bugging me or the dogs are barking, I make my husband get up and deal with them.
