Joe was getting headaches more often in the last few months, went from never getting one (unless he was sick) to 2-3 a month and over the last maybe 2 weeks it's been more like 2-3 a week. Anytime he has to do a lot of reading at school or work on the computer he comes home just miserable and goes straight to bed. So I scheduled him an appt w/ the doctor for Friday. My husband thinks he'll need glasses - he said that he got his first pair about Joe's age and they realized he needed them because of the same thing happening - headaches! Jayden wears glasses so I guess it wouldn't be a huge surprise. Either way I hope they can figure out what's causing it because I feel soo bad for him, he gets one and it makes him sick to his stomach and just ruins his day =(.

I would definitely take him to get his eyes checked, ASAP. That would probably be the quickest and easiest thing to do to try to solve the issue.

Brinlee has been wearing glasses since Christmas. And even though she never complained before she got them, I can definitely tell a difference. She doesn't get as fatigued when reading.

Poor guy! I hope the glasses are all that's needed to help him. (HUGS) and prayers. KUP.

Yep, I had horrible headaches around 2nd grade and needed glasses as well. Eye exams are usually pretty cheap, even if you don't have vision insurance.

Good luck!
