Our school hasn't released the teacher list yet, just a basic list. The teacher will give us a class specific list at the open house which I think is August 29th - I hate that they wait that long! But I'm going off last years lists and buying as much as I can so I don't have to do it all at once at the end.

Anyway this is what is on the basic lists -
Jay's list - 1st grade:
(2) 24 count Crayola Brand Crayons
* 2 boxes of tissues
1 package of Baby Wipes
(2) 20 pack of #2 Pencils (wood)
2 glue sticks
1 Journal (for Primary)
1 package pencil top erasers OR 1 package of large erasers
2 packages of computer paper (optional)

Joe's list - 6th grade
Pen and pencil pouch-for binder
2 folders-for binder
5 book covers for text books (can use grocery bags)
2 spiral notebooks (70 page count)
Pens (dark blue or black ink only)
Pencils (#2)
3 packs of loose leaf paper
To be left in student’s homeroom class:
1 ream of copy paper
Hand sanitizer

***KINDERGARTEN*** *Crayons - 24 Classic Only (No Markers)
Water bottle with pull up lid
Scissors - metal pointed (Fiskars)
*5 large white Elmerʼs glue sticks
School box (5 x 8)
School bag/backpack- NO WHEELS
Folder w/pockets on the bottom
1 lg. box of tissues (GIRLS) & 1 roll of paper towels (BOYS)
2 Spiral notebooks - wide lines 10 1/2 X 8
(Less than 100 sheets)
1 large box of baby wipes
6 pencils with erasers (please sharpen)
˝” Binder w/ pockets on side
Girls – sandwich bags- Bandaids
Boys – Lysol Wipes – Gallon size bags
*Please replace * as needed throughout the year.
Childʼs Name on everything (including each crayon).

So...the glue sticks are proving to be a needle in a haystack to find since everything is disappearing purple. I bought large Elmer's glue sticks for $1.62 a piece.....the reg size disappearing purple are 10 cents a piece (I'm slightly annoyed by this...). Also apparently regular stores do not carry 1/2 inch binders with pocket. I got Kayley a 1 inch binder with cute puppies on it.....we called the school today and they said it was fine but we will see. Everything is bought though!! Now for shoes, jackets, and clothes.....
Trisha--proud stay at home mommy and wife.

Well, our school has a "wish list" as it is state law that they must provide everything needed for the child to receive an education (actually, if you push this, it would be the case in all states). But our wish list was:

2 folders with brackets
one box of pencils
dry erase markers
2 composition books
2 spiral one subject notebooks
pencil box
hand sanitizer
ream of copy paper

I think that was about it.

I spent $11 on stuff and we're all done.

I have not gotten anything. Breana will be in Kindergarten. I wish I knew what to get since there are some good deals on things.

We haven't gotten ours yet but it'll be pretty similar to those above.
