Come home exhausted??

Joe doesn't but he's in 6th grade. Jay however comes home wiped out!! First day he told me about his day, sat on the couch and the next time I looked at him he was out lol. Yesterday he seemed ok but then he and Joe ran off to their room to play and a bit later I went in to check on them and he was crashed on the bed. I tried to wake him for dinner and I got him out to the couch but that was it, he was just exhausted! He slept from about 5pm straight through till 6am this morning!! He was awake when I got up and playing with the cat. He was bright eyed too, ready to go! And starving, he ate his left over dinner, a peanut butter jelly (he begged for one when I was making their lunches) and then 2 bowls of cereal . I hope he adjusts to school and doesn't end up falling asleep everyday but he did last year so we'll see!

Natalie was always tired the first week or so of Kindg. last year. Once her body adjusted she was fine. We'll see how this year works. Arianna's fine, she's tired but doesn't need a nap.

No, she's gets in, does homework, has a snack and then is straight out on her trampoline if it's dry or upstairs to play if it's wet.

We went through that until around 2nd grade. I used to have my son come home and take a 20-30 minute nap or I just made bedtime early (like 7:00). People thought/think I'm nuts to have him in bed so early, but it works. Even at 10, almost 11, he's in bed at 7:45-8:00, gets up at 6:30. He's in 5th grade, no issues with him coming home tired most days.
