How heavy is your child's book bag? Do they have a lot to carry back and forth to school daily?

It's not too bad, at least not yet. He hasn't had to bring any school books home yet though. Right now, the only thing in his bag is the binder they have, and that's it. (oh, and a change of clothes, and his snack and reading glasses......) Nothing heavy.

it varies. Sometimes she'll have a couple binders and books and other days she's just have her pencil pouch and a folder.

She drives me nuts though because she likes her straps long and her book bag hangs clear down to her butt. I get after her about it when it is heavy beacause of the stress it putts on her shoulders

I haven't weighed Ryan's backpack. He carries to the bus. From bus to classroom, from classroom to bus, and from bus to inside home.
