I was asked if I think being raised in Philly is neglect.

I answered back...

Well its not a crime.. and its not child abuse if that's all you know.

But you know what ?!!

Even though I can't credit my mom with actually being from New Jersey...
Because she went to school and was raised in Philadelphia, but she never was the economic authority in the house and I can however credit my dad with being from one better than even Southern New Jersey,

New York.

And with actually being in Florida for most his marriage before I was born.

So you know what ?
yeah, Philadelphia is child abuse. in our situation.

In our situation with the knowledge that we had, and the cross country mobility that we had...
Yeah.. its child abuse to raise your kid in Philadelphia.
Period.

Another way that it would morally be child abuse...
Is If you're making 50 or 60 thousand dollars per year, before OR after taxes...
Yeah, its child abuse and neglect to raise your kid in Philadelphia under that situation.

Its just that you can't legally punish people for it.

There's a difference between what the law says... and what things are in real life put into practice.
I'm talking about what is in real life, put into practice.

And in those two situations..

Our situation, mobility and sophistication and national cultural experience...
In that regard, its child abuse to raise your kid in Philly.

And the other situation.
Money.
If you have money, and you are raising your kid in that dump called Philly.
You're doing child abuse

But like I said..
There's a difference between doing child abuse, and committing it, in the eyes of the law.
