In a few weeks we are traveling about 2 hours to the water park. We know the food is really expensive there so we want to pack a picnic lunch to keep in the car till we are ready to eat. I don't think my cooler will fit in the car so I either need recipes that can withstand extreme heat from the car or I need to get a smaller cooler.
I am looking for recipes that are very filling since we will be outdoors playing in the water all day. I don't want to eat a simple sandwich and then 45 minutes later my DH complain he is hungry and have to leave the park again.
I am also on a tight budget. We are packing a lunch to save money so I need cheap filling things to fix.
I was thinking. do you think pizza would work?? my friend use to wrap leftovers in foil and put in the dash of her car and by lunch time the pizza would be warm.
