Hi there. I am 30 and just recently experienced my second miscarriage at around 8 weeks in late December/early January (I have no living children). My first miscarriage happened in October 2010 at 6 weeks; no hb was found in either pregnancy. I've initiated my own search for answers even though I know they won't refer me to a high-risk ob-gyn/fertility specialist until after I've had three. As I've suspected, no cause is coming up. We even had the tissue of our second embryo tested and it was found to be genetically normal. The only thing I can think to do is attempt to manage my stress; I work very hard at my job, and let things affect me very deeply. I guess I'd just like to know if any other women had consecutive miscarriages where no cause was found and went on to have a healthy pregnancy. I've read the statistics that show it's favorable, but it would just be nice to know of an actual person that had such a blessing after such tragedy. My dh and I are taking a few months off from trying so that I can emotionally heal and work on managing my stress. After that, we plan to just keep going until one takes. I hate with all my heart to refer to a baby that way, but we are determined to have a child of our own. I've always prided myself on how healthy I am, but never before have I wished for a clotting disorder or luteal phase defect...only because then I would feel like I could actually do something to help my babies.

I had two miscarriages with no cause found then two healthy children and then two more miscarriages. Although they never found a reason for my m/s my only two successful pregnancies I was started on progesterone prior to getting pregnant and took it throughout my first trimester. I know that a lot of doctors are now thinking progesterone doesn't really help but out of 6 pregnancies I was only able to go to term when I took it.

Good luck!

**Thanks to Cavewoman for the beautiful siggy!**

The recurrent pregnancy loss board has lots of tests that your dr can run and some dr's will run them after two losses. I am so sorry you are going through this. We are here if you need to talk.
