I had a good appt with my family doc yesterday. I went for a prenatal visit and told him about the sudden increase in flare-ups and he gave me a sample of an herbal formula that I can try. That is how my MD's are- if they pull out a prescription pad, it's only to write the directions to the nearest health food store. They are not big on drugs and neither am I, so I am very happy about this sample. I'm going to wait until the next flare-up to try them and I will let you know how it goes. I've been so depressed about how bad my RA has suddenly gotten that this is just the kind of hope I needed. Meanwhile, the past three days I've been mostly flare-up free and I hope to stay that way for good long time.

Glad to hear that you had a good appt. Sometime your chronic illness either acts up while pregnant or it is like you don't have anything wrong. I was fortunate when I was pregant. My crohn's disease would go into remission.
