Has your child gotten their first report card yet? If so, how are they doing in school?

No not yet, she gets it in a week or two. She does know that she got mostly 80s and 90s so far.

❤ Big Thanks to Vicki, trishosaurus, & Shortcake for the great siggies of my kids! ❤

They get them at different times of the year depending on their school year. Elijah's in her 4th year at High School (she's nearly 15) and got her first report last week. she's doing well in most subjects, although maths is still a struggle.
She has exams in December so she's having to study, which is a running battle most nights! The results of those exams will determine what level of exams she sits in May next year, so she needs a good kick up the rear!!

David should get his first report card the first week of November. They schools changed from a 6 week grading period to a 9 week grading period this year

DS already got his first report card, and he's doing really well. I'm quite proud of him. DD won't get hers until about the middle of November, likely it will be good, she only has English, Social Studies, and German this semester

He got a progress report and has a C average... not real good for him, he is a A/ B student and is in advanced classes. Seems he's not turning everything in and not studying much... I know soccer was a major factor and am glad that is over. He has 2 weeks left to get the grades up.

Greyson got his report card a few weeks ago. He's getting good enough grades (they do 1/2/3 grading, with 3 the best and 1 the worst) except in band he's getting all 1's. The biggest complaints are that he doesn't apply himself and he likes to mess around too much in class, and he doesn't do his homework. I don't like his teacher, so while I agree somewhat, I don't completely.
