Nope, can't drive until they're 17 over here and then it's only if you can afford the lessons, so I doubt she'll be learning anytime soon

my son still has a few years to go, but I recently started letting him drive from our house to my n laws house next door.

My daughter will be 16 in December but I do the same. I allow her to drive in the neighborhood...I figure I will let her get in some practice so I will be more comfortable for her to actually be on the road when she gets her permit.

Thank you Babydoll213 for my beautiful siggy

We had a very rough start to driving. Most of it I will admit was my overprotective mamma bear instinct going a little haywire. Meagan got her learner's permit right before I was in a very serious car accident. (The car was totalled. I was in the hospital for a week.) For months I would have panic attacks every time she got behind the wheel whether I was in the car with her or not.

We are a little more than a month away from her 16th birthday and I think I'm finally getting *almost* *maybe* comfortable with the idea of her driving. (Ask me again in a month and I might change my mind.)
