Smoothies, toast, coffee, cereal, eggs, whatever they can get their hands on.

David goes through phases. He will do sausage biscuits for a while, then poptarts, then cereal, then waffles. Right now he's on his waffle kick

We try to send them off to school having had a good filling breakfast but it doesn't always work out that way. If Rick has time to prepare something (I'm not consious enough to cook in the mornings ) he'll make pancakes or waffles or scrambled eggs with turkey sausage or turkey bacon. (we don't do pork) But if we don't have the time then it's cold cereal or granola and yogurt or instant oatmeal usually.

Even with all the craziness in the mornings we do manage to catch a few minutes where everyone's sitting down at the table at the same time most mornings. Not something we insist on but it happens that way.
