What do you think the chances of another premie are? I think the boys were born so early cause there were 2 and I was so big. Together they weighed 7 lbs, bout the size of a regular baby. I'm really short waisted, there was no where for them to go. I'm thinking chances of another premie are pretty slim. I plan on asking the dr though. I don't know if they would still consider me at risk for a premie or not. Any ideas?

Multiples have a habit of coming a bit early from what I seen when Mason was in the NICU.. If you didn't suffer from any other problems such as PreE or HELLP or anything I would say that you should be ok, but just like you said you may talk you your doctor to be ease your mind....

I'm terrified of this. with #2 I had my water break but I was only 10days away from my due date. and he was fine. #3 I was dialated at 5.5cms right at my 36week check and I stayed that way until she was born 3 days before her due date. and then #4 Tyaett was born at 35weeks. I had dialated early again and my water broke AND I started developing toxemia so those 3 all combo'd together aren't good. I'm hoping and praying(and I beleive this is the strongest factor I have in my favor - prayer) that this baby makes it to our due date and is as strong and healthy as possible. I'm not sure what I can do differently b/c it all started around 34 wks. and I'm not sure what caused it to begin with.

but with you carrying one this time I would think your chances are pretty high of carrying to term. I would if you are worried get your dr to do a check at the time when your boys were born and hopefully that will set your mind at ease for the remainder of your preg. (((hugs)))

That's a very good idea Charity, I'll make them do a check at 28 weeks. I started having contractions I think around 26. At 28 they hooked me up to a machine and gave me the stuff to stop them. But we didn't make it past 30wks. So we'll see if I'm feeling anything then. I don't think I can carry very big babies, I have a very short waist. Together the boys weighed 7 lbs and I think I can't handle much more than that. I think I should make it, but having them do a check to be sure is a great idea. Thanks.
