Do you celebrate Halloween? If so what are you doing? Are you dressing up, are your kids? What as? Do you decorate the house?

(If you don't celebrate do you mind saying why? I've heard tons of different reasons over the years.)

Yep, we play dress up on Halloween. The kids love it! they continue to play "trick or treat" for weeks and weeks afterward.

Briana - Cinderella
Laura - fairy (just using last yrs costume again. she loves it)
Kainan - we don't know yet...maybe Super Man
Sara - puppy, she'll be using Kainan's costume from last year.

We have a welcome thingy with pumpkins on it by our front door but that's it. We just got a few pumpkins and we'll probably do some carving of those this weekend

Mommy to Briana - 10, Laura - 9, Kainan - 8, Sara - 6 1/2 , Andrew - 4 1/2 and Nathan - 2

I Love Yoli ! Ask Me Why!!!

All three of the girls will be dressing up and trick or treating. Some people think its silly to spend so much $$ on costumes for just one night but my kids are still wearing their pirate costumes from last year when they play dress up so I'm not too worried! (Pirate costumes are in my siggy )

We love Halloween around here! I used to dress up every year when my DH and I were still traveling with his band. Halloween gigs were always so fun. This year Emma is going to be a vampire...Miles, a Lion and who knows what my 17 year old will be. We'll go to the haunted house at the YMCA and trick-or-treat for a while before we head to a church program where they have games and prizes...plus free hotdogs.

Yes we celebrate.
Cameron will be a race car driver (from the movie "cars")
Tyler will be winnie the pooh
I will be a clown
and DH is going to be this weird blow up thingy that makes him look like he's riding Frankenstein and has little tiny legs

I love carving pumpkins so I have 7 to carve and we have 2 small pumpkins that Cameron painted. We put some window decorations (the sticker type thingy's) up in the window and a wreath on the door.

Thanks Nicole (MommaDucks) for my new & awesome siggy.

we also LOVE Halloween. I won't be dressing up, only because I don't have a costume or I would lol
I do have a shirt I wear that says "my sister is a witch" lol
Nichole will be a pirate (black and pink one at that lol). We will go trick or treating. That day we are going to the pumpkin patch where they have a big festivle thing. Bouncy houses and face painting kinda things!

Made by Trish!!!! <3<3<3

We participate in Halloween, don't necessary celebrate it. What does it celebrate anyway? Free candy? The only time it's appropriate for your kids to take candy from strangers?!

Daniel will be Max from Max & Ruby. Neely will be taking him T&Ting with the other boys. I will be an ice cube because it's supposed to be cold and James has a football game. It is Senior night, so before the game, they honor the Seniors and their parents.

Do you celebrate Halloween? like Rachel, we participate... wouldn't say we 'celebrate' it though
If so what are you doing? TOTing, passing out candy and then maybe a party at a friend's house
Are you dressing up, are your kids? I won't, but C will... of course.
What as? he'll be a dragon.
Do you decorate the house? yes, but not as much as we used to... with a 2-story foyer, it's just not possible to hang our pumpkin lights on the front porch like we always did at the old house. so we have indoor decorations now, including a super creepy pirate hanging from the chandelier in the foyer

**thanks to trish for C's birthday siggy**
