I'm considering buying the econobum pack since it's so affordable. Was wondering if anyone has tried it and can tell me if these diapers worth buying or not. Thanks.

Thank you Jaidynsmum for the great sig!

I LOOOOOVE the one size prefolds the Econobum comes with. The cover isn't bad. It's not the first one I grab. It seems real thin but so far it's done the job.

I am planning on buying the box set from CottonBabies this Friday for my DD. It will be our first try at cloth diapering. I am so excited. These seemed like the best option for starting out, to me. They are well-priced. If cloth diapering seems to work for us after I buy this set, then I plan on purchasing a supply of BumGenius for DH and Daycare.

I have the set and am sort of 50/50 on liking it or not. The covers are sooo thin and the prefolds are really bulky. It's enough that I have to adjust my baby's carseat straps to allow for the extra bulk. I don't need to do that with my Flips. I use them when she's going to be eating a messy meal or due to poo. The rest of the time I use the Flips. I'm planning on picking up some BGs or more Flips this weekend so the Econobums will be going further down the line.
~Thanks Babydoll213 for my awesome siggie!~

I really like the econobum. The prefolds work great for ds, but I think they would be too big for a younger baby. The thinness of the cover doesn't bother me, it seems to hold in all the mess, in fact better than my g-diapers. I will probably pick up a few more because they seem to fit Eli really well.

I have all econobums and love them..Some ppl say they are bulky but I have less bulk with these than my pocket diapers I used to have..The covers are thin but durable as long as you don't rank on them..the prefolds wouldn't fit a newborn well but at around 4 months they can be folded down in the front or back a bit and fit well..they are also super absorbant and the customer service at cotton babies is amazing..I ordered 4 more of these 5 days ago and received them 3 days ago and the shipping was free(econo shipping)..I'd grab one and try it..I havent had a prob with mine yet..
