Here is a link to purchase the diapers I'm reviewing and view the 'before washing' pics --->OsoCozy Stay Dry Prefolds

I needed an extra dzn diapers for my NB son after realizing he was a poop machine. 2 dzn wouldn't cut it! I came across a steal for the Osocozy pfds (infant size) and after reading *what* they were supposed to be like was totally excited to give them a try. When they arrived, the top layer of micro suede layer on top of the prefold was sooooo soft! I was in love! This micro suede layer is supposed to keep moisture away from baby's skin and the diaper itself should absorb the moisture. After a few washings (4x maybe?), my diapers were turning a little rough on the suede layer and pilly. I DID wash them with other kinds of prefolds. So I don't know if that may have contributed. I also dried them in the dryer on low. Here is what they look like now --->

Regardless of the pilling and the not-so-soft feeling, these diapers are really amazing! For me, they do exactly what they promise and are my go-to diaper before the other ones I have. The moisture wicks right into the cotton prefold and the top layer of the diaper remains amazingly dry feeling! I wish I had TWO dzn of them. I have read reviews online that state the suede *can* attract more build up and become repellant, but if that happens, I hope a good boil will take care of it. Here are some pics of these diapers compared to a GMD newborn size ---->

And here they are stuffed into a sz1 Weehugger cover ---->
They are def a little bulkier for a newborn, but for long stretches of sleep my son stays nice and dry! At 2 1/2 weeks old, he is already wetting too much for a NB Indian pfd.

B/c of the pilling and not-so-soft feeling after only a bit of use, I give these diapers a instead of 5.
