In approx 6 hours I can say I've officially survived my EDD...it actually wasn't as difficult as I had feared it would be. I've been dreading it for so long - basically since the loss - that i was expecting today to be awful. Instead it was just empty, which was sad, but I now I feel like it will get easier having gotten past this "milestone".

Anyway I just wanted to thank all the ladies on this board for the support you've given me over the past 6+ months...I'm sorry I haven't been around more to reciprocate, but I will try to do better soon.

HUGS to everyone!

My dad likes to say "anticipation is worse/better than experience." I've found that the days I fear will be hard are never has hard as I think they're going to be. So I'm glad that it was gentle on you.

Thanks to babydoll213 for the siggy! My kids' blog Cora's blog

I'm so glad it was so much easier than you expected. I have to agree with what Brittanie said. The days that I figured would be awful always seemed to be okay. It was the days I least expected that hit the hardest.
Here's to many more good days.

glad to hear that you made it through alright.

I was terrified about my due date to arrive and exactly one month before the due date I was crying and I said "I just can't do this, it's too difficult b/c in one months time I should be giving birth to my living baby." But as the day approached, we made it Katrina's day and it really wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated.

In the end, it was just another day.
