What song or poem has had an impact on you since your loss?

What is the one thing you splurge on no matter what?

I was just going to post this, but I like your question better! =p

1. I have several songs, but the top two are "To Where You Are" by Josh Groban, and "Incomplete" by the Backstreet Boys.

2. I don't generally splurge on one specific thing, though lately it's been clothes for my kids. Next time maybe I should get some for myself.

1. In this Twilight by Nine Inch Nails

2. Books. I read extensively, and while I always buy used books, I buy A LOT. I have a 10 book stack on my desk at home, plus half a dozen other books on the back burner. I try to finish two a week - especially because I know reading is hard to do when you have a baby. I'm trying to read as much as I can now.

Thank you Vicki for my awesome siggy!!

What song or poem has had an impact on you since your loss? I like Casting Crowns "Praise you in the storm, and "Fly" by celine dion.

What is the one thing you splurge on no matter what? I don't normally get to splurge on stuff for myself, but DH gave me money last wk after I loss the baby and told me to spend it on myself. SO I only spent some of it and put the rest towards groceries and I am suppost to be getting it back...

1. I have yet to find one
2. Entertainment (movies, going out with friends, eating out, etc.) I try so hard to budget and spend well, but for whatever reason I always seem to be able rationalize spending money to do something with my friends, because it's an "expereince" I think I need cheaper friends

1. I have always preferred silence. I don't really like background noise, so I have no song.
2. food. Or it would be if I could eat. I just can't make myself eat..... but I sometimes buy the food anyway. Lots of food in my fridge that I bought and couldn't eat.

1. The only song that ever made me think about it since it happened almost 3 years ago is Miley Cyrus "Climb" the lyrics hit me..

2. Our Date Nites! Going out to restaurants at least once every two weeks, to the movies, or bowling. We budget pretty well but no matter what we make room for date nites!!

Music has always helped me to deal with life. There are so many songs that have had an impact on me since losing Autumn. A couple of those are 'The Climb,' by Miley Cyrus, and 'Who You'd Be Today,' by Kenny Chesney.

The only splurge that comes to mind right now is skydiving, because DB booked it today and we're going in 24 days!!!!!!
