Hi ladies, my name is Katie and I'm slowly creeping back into JM after some time away during a missed miscarriage. DH and I had been TTC #1 since August of last year. I found out at my 7 week ultrasound that my bean wasn't viable, there had been basically no growth in a week, and no heartbeat, and at 10.5 weeks, after almost 4 weeks of waiting/hoping/grieving I started bleeding. It started last Wednesday, and I'm still bleeding now (though not heavily). At this point I'm just wanting it to stop, so I can move on.

Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. It helps me to hear other people's stories, and know I'm not the only one that's feeling this way. I'm sorry any of us had to go through this! I wasn't prepared for how hard it was going to be (physically and emotionally).

I've been wondering how you were doing. I hate that you have to join us. I'm glad the physical part has started for you so that way you can start to move forward with the emotional healing. As much as it sucks to go through, it is nice to not feel so alone.

I'm so sorry. The same thing happened with my loss. She never grew past 5 1/2 weeks in size, even though I didn't have the D&C until 9 weeks. It was so devastating. I'm glad you realize that you are not alone. All of us have been there and know just how painful this is. ((Hugs))

Hi Katie, I am Clare.

8 days ago I had a D&C, that was the best decision for me.

My baby had died at 8/5 weeks and I was nearly 11 and my body was not letting go anytime soon.

My bleeding is on and off but it is dark brown so its coming to an end, just waiting on a negative hpt.

i wish you easy days sweetie. xxx

I'm glad you took the time you needed away (that always helps me). I know talking to others who understand what I'm going through always helps too. I hope the bleeding stops soon so you can heal physically & emotionally.
