Hi guys. I am/was? In the sept DDC, 8 weeks along. Today I went for my confirmation u/s and she saw a gestational sac & yolk sac, measuring 6 weeks, but no baby. My LMP was 8 weeks ago today and I got a BFP 35 days ago (which was 3wks 2 days along). I am to go in for another u/s next Wednesday to see if a baby is there but too small. Bu they kept asking if I had spotted any or was crampy- no to both. I'm guessing the baby didn't develop but wanted to know what you guys think. This is my first experience with a possible blighted ovum/ miscarriage and if it is going to go that path, I want to be as prepared as I can be. My husband says to stay positive, but if it's a miscarriage, just want I to hurry up. Please answer with anything you know, good or bad...thanks.

I'm really sorry to hear about this. I'm no doctor, but honestly, in your shoes I think I'd try to shift into accepting this as a loss. At 8 weeks you typically, statistically *should* be able to see something more than a sac, especially if you got an early bfp and think you ovulated on schedule. I'm so sorry.

I'm currently in the midst of my second loss- baby stopped growing about 6 weeks, and today I should be 8w5d. Just yesterday I began to bleed a little. So, the process of miscarrying naturally can take awhile.

Again, I'm so sorry you are going through this.

I'm sorry, I just saw your post date was almost 2 weeks ago. How are you doing?
