Did you get your milk? My boobs aren't leaking but they are very swollen (like porn star big - I am a D cup now) and extremely sore. I am wondering if it's because of milk or just hormones.

I didn't get milk but they were sore!
I guess it's hormones....yuk!
(The colostrom started coming out a year later!)

If you have access to raw cabbage, put one leaf in each cup.
It draws out the heat and the pain.

Good luck sweetie!

I was actually 29 wks but I have heard of women getting their milk in that early after a loss.
I was rock hard for about 3 days. My dr told me to wear a tight sports bra and try not to massage them b/c it stimulates the glands and prolongs the discomfort.
Some may say take a hot shower but again I was told not to do that either.
If it is your milk coming in, after a few days the pain should ease.

Just another sad remind of what we've lost. Sorry you have to go through this after such a great loss. Just remember you're not alone.

I don't post here too much, but I had a loss at 20w1d and my milk came in. She was my 3rd baby so maybe my body just knew what to do? It took about 5 days for it to go away. Take advil it will help.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how it feels.

Thanks for the info. I took some motrin and they feel a lot better. Unfortunately, my right boob is leaking. I cannot wait until I stop bleeding and my boobs go back to normal.

My baby was born at 27weeks and yes my milk did come in. It took about 3 days to come in, another day they got rock hard, they hurt so very badly. About a week later it was only leaking and still is (3w2days later). I know what you mean exactly. I can't wait to get back to "normal". Feel free to PM me anytime!
