If you do provide a service, about how many hours a week do you invest in your business?

This could also be an idea thread!
Services I've thought of that would make good mommy businesses would be giving massages, being a party/event planner, catering, web design, etc.

Tell us about the good, the bad, and the ugly

I provide website consulting and design services. I don't really pay attention to how many hours I devote to it though. I really enjoy what I do, so spending time on it is easy and I often get carried away.

I tutor high school math.

THe number of hours varies-- right now I'm down to 3 very steady kids a week, with a bunch of others who call now and then. It's down quite a bit from last year-- it tends to flucuate from year to year.

Any other teachers or former teachers out there who want to get started, let me know and I'll give you the info.

I also do freelance writing, mostly math related. But that doesn't really fall under your "service" thread.
