So my boss said I could bring Sally to work with me. I went today and put her in her sling, no problem. She slept the whole time I was there. In fact, she's still sleeping, and it's been over three hours. I ordered a different sling online because the one I have is not good for nursing, but if we work that out we'll be all set. I'm thinking I'll try being there a few hours a day and see how it goes. Right now they don't have a desk for me, but the guy who uses my old desk is on his honeymoon, so I've got two weeks as a test drive.
This really isn't my ideal job from a work perspective, but it's been awesome from a mom perspective. It's really great to get out of the house, too, because I've started getting depressed from being alone so much during the day. Somehow, going shopping and such to get out just doesn't cut it, emotionally or financially. It's nice to have a place to go to, as long as I can bring Sally.

Yay! I'm so glad it worked out for you. You've got a great boss/company to let you do that. Sounds like Sally is a good baby. Alex goes from sleeping to screaming for food in 2 seconds flat, so I don't think he'd be very welcome at my office.
