Believers build courage by deciding now to avoid compromise and trusting
that God will be with them. How do you avoid compromising your faith in
God even in hostile circumstances?

Joseph Stowell writes, "We who are committed to becoming Christ-lovers
will inevitably have to choose what will drive the agenda of our lives.
Even well-intentioned followers find that our desire to love Him with the
totality of our being frequently collides with cash and comforts love."
Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Why?

People in the Old Testament had their faith tested and found God
faithful. Match the following people with the Scripture passage where
each person's story is found:

Shadrach, Meshach, Abedngo

____________ Genesis 50:20
____________ Joshua 6:1-27
____________ Daniel 3:1-30
____________ Genesis 22:1-19
____________ Exodus 14:13-22
