I JUST shared this in the Sunday Sharing thread but it was so meaningful to me that I wanted to share it here as well.

Our pastor shared some things to say every morning to help us get into a state of giving up control & following the Lord on a daily basis. This is something that I really want to get to & I pray all the time, not my will but YOURS but sometimes it is hard to figure out if something is my own selfish desire or if it is the Lord's prompting. For example, embryo adoption that I posted about... everyone knows that I want a baby & I have always said I won't do IVF but is this thought & desire coming from my selfish desire or from the Lord. Anyway, in order to daily release control & give it to God, we should start each day telling God these things...
  1. "God, You are in control."
  2. "Today is Your day & I am Your servant."
  3. "Jesus, I am your ambassador."
  4. "Jesus, today I will bring light to a dark world."
  5. "I will bring truth in a world full of lies."
  6. "Where You say go, I will go."
  7. "What You say do, I will do."
I'm going to start doing this daily b/c I desire nothing more than to be Christ's servant.

Just wanted to share.

Thank you so much for sharing Amanda. This is exactly what I need to do. I still feel like I lost my 'fire' after I found out that another friend of mine is pregnant.
Psalm 113:9
He gives the childless woman a family,
making her a happy mother.
Praise the Lord!
