I think it'd be adorable if she could pray out loud, but.... 9 months is a little young for that - LOL!!!

I think some days I can't wait for her to talk and then stop myself and say "yes, I CAN wait"!! I think Kynslee will be a little jabber box we she does start talking

Scarlett is still too young too

I make an effort to make sure that I pray out loud and openly around her so that she will grow up knowing it's normal and okay and a good thing. I still get nervous praying out loud myself sometimes, and I don't want her to have any problems with that.

Kayley does all of the time...she's 5. I think it's so cute because she will whisper and tell me. She says "I know that there won't be a storm because I prayed about it." She is 100% convinced....lol. We pray together a lot too.

Claire and Madelyn do! So cute! Sometime it's very short and to the point, and sometimes it's drawn out and so sweet

When Mercy was a baby we used to take her with us to leaders meetings at church. One time when she was about 9 months old we all gathered around to pray and I looked over at her and she was folding her hands and closing her eyes as soon as she heard the word "pray". It was so cute! We didn't teach her to do that, she just picked it up by watching everyone I guess. And she still does it every time.

We pray out loud with the kids a lot. They say grace and bedtime prayers every day and sometimes will just spontaneously pray for things. Mercy is usually a little chatterbox when she prays. She just get's so excited. Nathaniel's prayers are very short and to the point. We can hardly ever actually understand what he says but God knows.

Meagan and Kayla will pray out loud pretty much any time anywhere! Abbey and Ellie are more reserved. They'll say grace and they'll pray out loud with just one other person or with a small group of trusted friends or family if they're encouraged too but they really prefer to pray alone.
Ellie hasn't quite figured out silent prayer yet though so I often overhear her whispering her prayers. It's so sweet to hear her praying for her sisters and sometimes for other kids she doesn't even know!
