So, just finished reading "Letters From A Skeptic" and absolutely fell in LOVE with it and Dr. Greg Boy'd and his father. It really changed my life!

Dr. Greg Boy'd refers to C.S. Lewis a lot in his theories/explanations so I went out and got his book too. I would have gotten them from the libarary but none fo the libraries around me had any.

In all honesty, I started reading 50 shades of grey, bc everyone was, and although it was exciting, I kind of feld I dunno, wrong for it. When I cracked open "Letters From A Skeptic" my soul was floored!!

I love non-fiction Christian books and want to get my hands on as manty as possible. Any recommendations? I know some of you have given me suggestions in the past but would you mind reminding me?

Late at night, when the fam is asleep....reading these books has been such a blessing!

I'm more a Christian fiction romance type person. Karen Kingsbury has really good books if you like things along that line. Her book One Tuesday Morning is just a tear-jerker but also gave me so good things to think about and learn from. It's a fiction story about the Tuesday of September 11th. You should google it & read a little about it to see if it's something that may interest you - I had several people recommend it to me and I'm so glad I read it. You can also read the sequel to that book called Beyond Tuesday Morning.

These are fiction but based on biblical stories/truths and make you want to go find the story in the bible and read it...Francine Rivers books are the best to me! Redeeming Love is literally the best book ever written and I adore the Mark of the Lion series. (That's the one I told you about with the character who reminded me of you.) I also love Leotas Garden.

Max Lucado is an inspirational Christian writer. I started reading Christian books because of him. I haven't read any of his latest books but probably read all of them up to the year 2000. I learned so much from him.

I highly, highly recommend "Captivating" to all women. It's by John and Stasi Eldredge.

I also highly recommend "Blue Genes"...I forget the author but this is a great book dealing with anxiety, depression and other illnesses. It helped me so much when my mom was sick.

The only CS Lewis book I've read so far is "Mere Christianity" and it was awesome! This would help with discussions with Lee.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb...I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made...My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together...Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139: 13-16

The Resolution for Women is a good one too.

Do you have a kindle? They are great because you can sample a book before you purchase it and read reviews on it.
