Clearly I'm back from the hurricance with all of my questions...=) sorry....my faith is the world to me and I am a "jump right in" kind of person so I want to grow and strengthen my faith now instead of later...also a fault of mine.

So, there are BILLIONS of people in this world and one GOD.....if billions and billions of us are walking around, some praying, all with different situations and problems, how can GOD be present in ALL OF OURS and AT THE SAME TIME, be equally as PRESENT in all of our lives? I know I'm thinking in human terms but I still wonder about this. It's hard to even feel special to GOD. I can equate this to that no matter how many children I have, I will always LOVE THEM equally but for some reason, even though GOD is DIVINE and of different nature, it is hard to imagine that he could be up running and rejoicing in HEAVEN, while walking besides BILLIONS AND BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of people here on earth, hearing all of our prayers, trillions of thoughts, and orchestrating when he feels necessary. How is this possible? I know these are earthly thoughts but even for the divine.....I just don't understand.

Any thoughts? I guess I've always struggled with feeling valuable so for me, when I feel close to CHRIST, I start to back talk myself into "you are one of so many, and compared to everyone else you are nothing special." Sorry so morbid......

It's just a part of God we can't fathom...his omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence. I know what you mean. We just can't comprehend it as humans. The bible says the earth is his footstool and we are like grasshoppers in comparison to him. That's how big he is. The Bible says the hairs on our head are numbered...how trivial is that? But God knows that about you. It says not even a sparrow falls to the ground without him knowing. Surely we are significantly more important that a common bird. We are made in his image. Just know that he does know you and you are important even if you can't fathom it.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb...I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made...My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together...Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139: 13-16
