We had a great 'tell it like it is' sermon on the need for missionaries in the American Christian Church. How many of us are guilty of following a "Christian Checklist" of what we should do or should think and don't realize that the mentality is making us self centered instead of God centered.

We learned to love your neighbor as yourself and how that means all people in general. It really spoke to us because I literally had to call the police on a neighbors kids and their friend for vandalizing an elderly woman's (who happens to go to our church) mailbox last week. He did the one next to her too. I tried to talk to him but he had a foul mouth to me, so really I had no choice. They got away with it too because they were lying for each other. I've actually been kind of afraid to get involved when they lash out (as they so often do) because the oldest boy (who is 18) is a satanist. I don't have a facebook but my niece does and his site was visually offensive! Anyway...I have been praying for them because they are young.
Trisha--proud stay at home mommy and wife.
