I have taken the superintendent job at church for the jr church. We have ages 3-5. They used to watch a veggie tales movie but I would like to see some learning there too.

All the children have sunday school before this.

Thoughts ?

At this age, teach them through songs, stories, and activities. Apparently there are a lot of scripture verse songs. I knew a young girl at this age who memorized the books of the bible through song. Take stories and break them down. A lesson on creation could last several weeks. I would do a short story related to your lesson, followed by a scripture or bible song, followed by an activity.

They are old enough to start answering questions and giving thoughts and ideas as well.

Thank you *Kiliki* for once again doing such amazing work on a siggie

I would do songs, stories, crafts, and physical activity. IMO no children's church program should involve videos.
