Dh and I went out last night for his birthday yet (it was on monday) and we went to the movies and saw Fly Boys. And I don't know about you, but often movies are just totally ruined by the language, sex and violence. There was not a one swear in this movie, no bad words period. Then the love interest kissed and nothing else. Nothing ruines a romantic story more than the people jumping in bed right away in my opinion. It was a Word War 1 movie, so there was fighting and shooting, but nothing grotesque or unrealistic.
It turned out to be a perfect movie for both of us, just the right mix between chick flick and guy movie.
I can't believe how much crap is put in movies, and I think we need way more integrity in movies.

Anyways, we had a nice dinner afterwards, we both had a great time, it's so nice to be a couple sometimes, instead of being mom and dad. (we love that of course, but it's nice to get out with just the two of us occasionally).

Oh, I totally agree. My husband and I have actually walked out of movies b/f if they were bad. It's so nice to have a date night! I don't get them nearly often enough.
