What if you were sitting face to face with a potential birthmom.. she's scared and never heard much about adoption. What would be the best piece of advice you could give her?

Wow.... I find myself answering this question quite a bit. I do alot of outreach work for a local agency...

I have always said....
Think about the baby, not yourself. The baby is totally relying on you to chose the best. Every child deserves the best that a mother can provide. Sometimes, adoption is absolutely the best thing that the mother can provide. This is a completely unselfish act... it's completely unselfish to even consider it.

The main thing that I ALWAYS stress.... it's not about you. It all about the baby...

Great question, by the way!!! I'm happy you posted this!
