I have just ordered one of these for Noelia,I think its a FANTASTIC idea!!!

The doll comes with a little top (looks like a bikini top) that the little girl has to put on over her clothes. The top has two little flowers (where her nipples are) and when she puts the doll to those little flowers, the doll starts to suck
Also,if she pulls the doll away too soon and its still "hungry",it starts to cry and the little girl will learn to put her to the other "breast".
With this doll,Spain is trying to promote breast feeding and teach our new generation how important and beautiful it really is.
The doll also comes with a DVD full of info about BFing for little girls, and instructions on how to "feed" their dolls It costs 40€ and Im actually on a 5 week waiting list to receive mine!!! lol.Just in time for christmas!!
I think its wonderful!!!!

Here´s a video. Its in Spanish, but its just so you can get the idea:

Well,WDYT??? Is it cool or what???

Thank you SO much for my new siggy Julia (Julka)!

I don't think it's a bad idea, just abit strange to me lol.

We have baby dolls with bottles so I guess there's no difference. Still abit weird tho lol.

I hope your DD likes it

I wouldn't personally waist my money on it though. My DD's can (and do) use any doll to nurse. This is just another thing to buy and another gimic to make more money.

Hmm, it's neat I guess. But yeah, when we were little, we used to "nurse" our baby dolls because we saw our mom nursing our younger brothers. No special doll needed.

But, to each their own

This doll has stirred quite a bit of controversy. It definitely isn't something I'd buy because I agree with the PP, it is a bit gimmicky. Also, the apron/shirt thing is just weird. It looks like it has pasties on it or something...
So, while it's not for us, I don't really see the big problem with it.
