http://rheumatic.org/sugar.htm

Reading this makes me even more glad I eat low-carb. Has anyone seen the Dirty Jobs episode where they visit the sugar plant/factory? I knew white sugar was extremely processed, but what an eye opener!

Some of those things I already knew, and big reasons on why I monitor what my child eats. Other things I think are a bit of a stretch.... but hey, its information... you can take it or leave it!

Wow! And the list didn't even include the worst fact about sugar--everyone who has ever eaten sugar is GOING TO DIE. That's terrible. Something needs to be done--maybe a congressional subcommittee hearing or something. We need to make sugar against the law! Or least require a license to purchase sugar, along with sugar-user edumacation classes. Or, sue the sugar companies and make them pay for free health care for everyone who ever ate sugar.

75. Sugar can cause depression. If that's true, what am I going to eat when I'm depressed?

130. Sugar may contribute to mild memory loss.

Maybe that is why I can never remember anything.

Jesus, we're all gonna die someday. That's a fact. If I want to go out knowing what really good cheesecake tastes like, then I will continue eating sugar in moderation.
