Hi there,

We started TTC for a girl this month using Shettles. I have irregular cycles due to breastfeeding my son, so have been using OPKs to try to follow my ovulation surge.

For the past week I have been getting no 2nd line, but last night I got a verrrry faint line then today I got a line slightly lighter than the control line.

The last time we BD was 5 nights ago. I understand we should be trying a few days before O, but do you think if we BD tonight it would be too late and too close to ovulation for a girl?

I also don't want to miss the train though. How long before ovulation would a 2nd line be slightly lighter than the control line?

TIA for any help you can give
