Hey girls,

I have 2 boys and we are trying for a girl now the pregnancies before we never tried for a specific gender. We really hoped our second was a girl but it was another boy. I was thankful for having a healthy boy, but i was heartbroken when i found out (only for about 10mins. he was adorable on the u/s monitor!) but now this will be our third child and although i want more, my husband really wants to stop after 3. With that said we are trying to gather all the info so we can have a girl! or at least better our chances I have a few questions,

1.) The girl diet, is that for me or for him or both of us? that may seem silly but i assume its for him considering he has the control over what we end up with! but maybe i need to eat it too to make sure my body is getting whatever nutrients from that list of food that is needed for a girl?

2.) My periods arent regular. they never have been, i had my period back in march, no period april, then i had it in may, june it only lasted 2 days (making me wonder if i was pregnant since its always 5 days, but 4 pregnancy tests later and nope not pregnant), got my period this month as well.. Would it still be a good idea to pick up the ovulation strips to track when im about to ovulate? We are going to start trying mid-august. which means about a week - week and half before i should start my period(he is deployed at the moment and will be home soon).

i think thats it for now. Both boys were born in october, (like i said we didnt really plan for them, we just TTC! lol we should of planned it out! that month we are broke because of the birthdays! it took almost a year for our first and about 4 months for our second! hopefully it doesnt take as long this time
