Are your kids breakfast people? Do you think it has any bearing on how they function in school?

Daniel loves breakfast, but Ben will eat 1/2 a Pop Tart and complain that he's full. Daniel can go-go-go until lunch, but Ben is grouchy and starving by 10:00. He doesn't function well without a snack. I just can't get him to eat a real breakfast, because he'll start feeling sick. As a baby, he was a huge breakfast eater, but he hasn't been since he was about 2.

We all have breakfast in the morning except Adrian. He's more of a cheesestick in the morning kind of kid. They all go fine until noon usually.

My kids all have breakfast, some days more food than others.

This year Nathan comes home from school saying he's STARVING That's at 4pm and even though we'll be eating dinner at 530ish, I have to let him have a small snack. The day I told him no that he could wait turned into a total meltdown about doing his homework and reading. The work is not the problem at all, but the hunger was! He was a CRAB! Let him have some fruit and it was a complete 180!
