Wasn't it you who spent time at Washington College in Chestertown??? My daughter absolutely loves it and is enjoying it so much. She is swimming for them and it's about to start too. She is training in Ft. Lauderdale over Christmas break and we just had to pay her airfare (got tix yesterday) and it costs $300 for the trainer. The school is picking up the rest.

Can I just say that both of my girls have amazing educational opportunities this year and how grateful I am for SCHOLARSHIPS???? No way could we have afforded either.

Smart kids pay off.

Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my awesome siggy!!!

Yup. I went to a week long leadership camp there when I was 12. I love that school and campus. It's an incredible school.

*Three cheers for scholarships!!!*

I don't even want to think about what my life would be like right now without scholarships! I had 4 years of full tuition, one semester of alumni money, and 9 semesters of band money. (10th semester was student teaching, so the band wouldn't pay me not to play... LOL). I only took out a loan for the 5th year of school (my track should've taken 6 years). I also took a few credits via CLEP and free through my parents' community college, so I knocked off another year and several thousand dollars that way! Basically, I was working to pay for "me" ... apartment, car, food, insurance, etc. My dh didn't get any loans, because his parents had money saved for college.
